How did you manage to remove the light switch? Even my smallest phillips is way to big to ifit inbetween there. I finished painting the rest of my truck /bumpers today too

On another note some bad news, I lost my job today so my project will be most definitely be slowing down..

I'm not quite sure how to get it out, I've just been researching and that's all I knew. My buddy replaced his but he wasn't any help on telling us how to do it. On another note, the truck looks good dude those gloss bumpers makes the truck kinda pop! ya know? And sorry about your job man that's crappy.

This is an amazing thread! Most people would have written off the truck as a rust bucket but you have given it a whole new life! That's pretty neat. Keep it coming!

Thanks man, im thinking about sandblasting the original rims that came with it painting them black and slapping some 35s on them, my only concern is running the 35s with stock gearing, but ive heard of people doing it with theres 22res so im sure the 7MGE should make it not matter

Scored a set of some vintage white 80s toyota rims and 3 35x12.50 BFG All terrains with around 50% tread only paid $10 for all of it! Picking up a 4th tire tomorow with 70% tread for $100 and putting the tires on. The 33x12.50 with R17 rims are going back on the 4runner

From what I understand smittybuilt stopped making these bumpers in the 80s, so sadly your only options are to buy used ones from people. I would recommend searching craigslist and looking at junkyards. Probly wouldnt be to hard to fabricate a similar jeep bumper to fit your truck.

thanks but I ended up taking it apart and fixing the light problem, I also bought a 2nd brand new tire for the rear and replaced my water pump. After replacing my waterpump I started to have this problem where all my pressure in my radiator was being built up and had no where to go so it would puke out of the overflow bottle. Ended up being my thermostat was forced shut so I got a new one and that fixed everything.

If you or anyone else on here could please help me with some wiring I would appreciate it! I put a 7mge into my 1994 pickup and am running into wiring issues. I really don't know how to use this forum well so if you could email me at Diamond2382prelude@yahoo.com that'd be great!
