Little update. Pulled my motor to swap it out wit my 4runner motor. Mine burned about a quart every 100 miles so it was time. Bought the runner for 200$ snd drove it 1000 miles to see if it was any better. Didn't use any coolant or oil so I'm putting it in my truck.

I put seats in from a 1987 supra. Only had to drill two holes, bend some tabs and hook up the electric for the drivers side. They work great, match the interior, and are stupid comfy.

Cool thanks man!!! Love getting compliments. When hot rod season comes around and someone asks where mine is at I point at the yota. "That is my hot rod"

Well no wheeling tonight. Someone made a comment about my rusty toyota today and it kinda pissed me off so I decided to work on it. Pulled the tires off the rear and wire wheeled everything and painted. Also replaced my plugs which netted me three and a half more squirrels. Haha

I was gonna do mine a mix of desert tan or sand and olive drab. I actually ended up going blue cause i thought yours looked good with blue wnd black. I wish i had gone with my original scheme just cause blue is dark and i like brighter colors i guess.

Sand paint looks awesome imo. Sand and black trim and wheels and stuff is a good look

I love my blue. It's the only color I'd pick if the truck was any other color but blue. But it's the original paint and its all dented up and scratched here and there. I could go for a flatter blue but I kinda want something different. Tan/sandy and back would look pretty good I think. But I would want to do it right and shoot it with clear when I'm done cause I work on it so much that it'd probably get greasy finger and hand prints on it.

I think tan and black would be sweet. Wonder how it would look being tan with factory style stripes like our trucks have but black?

Dupli-color truck bed coating. worked good but if you hand wax your truck don't get any wax on the bed coating cause it will stay forever.

I think it would really stand out and look good. My dad's fiance has a vinyl machine in the basement and I told her awhile back that I was going to make replacement stripes for my truck at some point. If I get enuf interest it may give me the motivation to get started on it.
