Al_84_TOY's 1984 Pickup Build-Up Thread

my 84 toyota has faithfully served me on and off road for the last three years, i have mildly upgraded it during the time ive had it and now that i have a second truck to drive it is time to get serious...well at least as serious as i can on a very very tight budget

How about bringin this sucker back from the dead??
We got alot done to the Ol 84 this weekend. We had tons of projects goin on at once, so the pics might seem out of order.
The beginning

Pullin the t case mount for dual cases

Front tires pulled to drop the axle

Starting to pull the case apart for the duals
Got intox'd and forgot to take some pics, but worked all the way to sunrise and the rest of the day (no sleep for the hardcore)

Duals done

Cuttin the overloads off the rear packs to prep them for the front

Duals goin in

The 35s

RUFs in

Manual box out

Custom hi steer arms

And gusseted hi steer arms

Final stance as of this morning

It still needs a few things but its alot better than before. Al is super happy.
There are some pics that I didnt get. Like: shock tower relocation, IFS box swap, crossover steering, sortened d shaft, custom t case crossmember and some other stuff I'm sure.
