First build here:

truck: 1984 toyota pickup regular cab 4x4 5speed
i didnt take many pic during the build up



bought the truck for 1400 from some guy passing through town on his way to his daughters wedding. my buddys were at breakfast and called me to come check out the truck. i bought it

came lifted 3 inch (each corner had a different leaf for an add-a-leaf )wtf??!@?!?

custom bumpers, no pics of front but it looked like a cattle guard for a train. rear was just a peice of c channel.

interior' 3 custom guages( oil, temp. volts) all broken, bench seat and shag carpet!!!

i have done alot to my truck since then, only thing not gone through or rebuild is my tranny.

 

pic of right after i got the truck got a sweet deal on 33s to good to pass up, cut off huge front bumper.

second truck is my daily driver. 3 engines and too many hours working on it

 

parts i gethered and started on front axle



upper axle gusset, steering stop caps.



top and bottom ball gussets, lifetime wiper and thick half moons, upgraded steering arm studs, trunion eliminator, high steer.



pumkin armour, hydro assist, 4.37 third member open, breather tap for hose



ifs hubs, marlin bearings and seals, landcruiser rotors, rebuilt locking hubs, dirty 30's chromo shafts.



Nice and wide,



4.375 third out of a 79 open.



Just put on new 33's and a bath.



Started tear down.



Steering box removed, radiator out, ran p.s. lines, suspension loose ready to be dropped.



Rear axle out, gonna put in welde 4.37 third.

Here's the spec's for his truck.

1984 22R 5 Speed SR5-
Trail gear gussets. Dirty Thirty shafts, with trunion bearing eliminator. Diy hydro assist with tapped box.
Rear's up front but rebuilt leaf packs, moved up 3inches. Stretched rear's that moved rear axle back about 4inches. With a sick double shackle that he needs to show off!!!!
Open front, welded rear with cromo shafts.
IFS rear axle, Landcrusher rotors, ifs cailpers. Give's 3inches total span up front.
Marlin adapter with stock duels and DIY crossmember.

flip kit, /\ angled shocks, brake line moved to center of axle, breather tube does up into cab, rear pumkin armour, hybrid leaf pack, new muffle.



my double shackle set up, stock fronts flipped, eyelit cut off broken pair of leafs n cut a v into old bumpstops and put them on up side down, used round stock and part of stock rear shackle for a stop.
