Pretty good for only 2 rear shocks lol. Will start on front as soon as I build or buy a spring hanger to push front axle forward a few inches. Originally Posted by RMP8080

Kinda slow at work so was messing around with mounting my cb.
Picked up a better mic

This seemed like a good spot.

Picked up a extra 22r carb for 20$ for just in case
And a craftsman tool box full of Taiwan and craftsman tools for 40$

Truck looks great. Amazed at all he work. It's nice to see a truck brought back from the dead instead of buying new.

No not really lol. Bought time for some big money stuff for the yota , which will have to wait .So dirtbikes / rc crawlers and upland bird hunting has consumed my time lately.Originally Posted by 83Toyota88
Any work done on the truck lately?!
Well I guess it's time to start picking a the Yota again . Game plan has changed a little since I have have far to many projects and hobbies and I'm tired of looking at this all day at work just parked. My new plan is just to finish up my front shock towers and pushing my axle forward a few " , picking up some decent 35's and just cruise it in the hills this summer. Maybe just lightly wheeling it may spark my interest to actually build my axles and dual case it ? But for now just get it on the dirt.

Well almost a year without any work done I finally started to get some motivation . Before I got into more fab work I decided to do some fine tuning on carb and ignition . Got the choke / high idle / low idle / air fuel dialed After dropping the float level quite a bit and adding a adjustable fuel regulator with a few more degrees ignition timing she's running smooth as ever. Fuel set @ 2.5psi for regular driving, and turn it down to 1-1.5psi for low speed steep angle stuff. Also vented the bowl overflow outside carb to help with flooding on angles.
30$ fpr

Bracket mounted and easily adjusted without taking cleaner assembly off.

Overflow tube . Simple 3/16 motorcycle fuel tube and a rubber grommet . Drilled hole in air cleaner housing and ran it down the side of the block.

Got some used 35x12.5r-15 km2s the other day also. Mounted them on those 15x8 crager soft 8s I picked up last year. Much better stance now with 3.75" backspace wheels and those 1.5" spacers. Will post pics soon.

Took a few snaps of the truck on new to me wheels and tires. Much nicer stance IMO.

I can actually turn stop to stop now without rubbing on leaf springs !

Rear tires almost touched the leaf springs before , now I got quite a few inches.
