Alright guys well I haven't posted here in awhile..
4runner is currently on blocks in my garage and has been for awhile, front end is getting hi-steer I've cut out all the push pull steering b/s and cleaned the axle also going to be doing a knuckle rebuild and seal replacement.

After that it's time for some chevy leafs and R.U.F!

Pictures soon guys!

Alright so to be honest the 4runner has been sitting in my yard with the front axle taken apart waiting for Hi-Steer...

Finally picked up a hi-steer kit, ifs box and knuckle rebuild kit and got to work!!

OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW!!

30 year old steering & seals lol... That's some original toyota right there lol

That was a great video.

Glad to see you got the Hi-Steer on. Thats top on my list of things to do right now.

Not sure what all needs to be done but I know there are a ton of threads on here that have great pic and info on how they mounted the IFS box. I think some people have cut into the core support for more room.

Yeah buddy, it was much needed! That's the only thing I have to do now is mount the IFS box.. Getting a bracket today to make things easier from TrailGear..

Here are some pictures with the ifs box mounted and the first time I have wheeled the truck in 6 months! The hi-steer worked wonders, WAY less bump steer on rocks etc..

Thanks man! Yeah once you get the hi-steer kit, you'll want to get a toyota IFS steering box and you'll also want to buy the mounting bracket you can find it on trail-gear..

I thought the Bracket would have come in the High Steer kit. Thats good to know that you have to order it separate.

How did you figure on where to place the IFS box. Is there a template in the kit or is it just a matter of getting the High steer arms on the knuckles and seeing where the Box Lines up?
