So finally got around to rebuilding my front axle. I pulled off all the old seals and removed 50lbs of road grime and caked on oil and dirt. Haven't completed yet but coming together really nicely. I also am installing new tre and I painted a good deal of parts.

The scary part about the last photo is that there is no snow or ice in your drive way in January!!

Yea it's getting pretty bad here. Even tho we just hosted Olympic qualifiers. It hasn't snowed in a little over two months. Makes it easier to wok on the truck when you don't have a garage

Yea. The mountain is getting pretty bare and desperate. Everyone is starting to get laid off. It hasn't snowed in over two months. We did just host the Olympic qualifier tho.

Front axle/knuckle rebuild and upgraded front brakes is almost complete. Have to wait on a thrush washer for the passenger side axle because it was missing it.

Just ordered a Ebrake setup from all pro. I will be ripping the rear axle apart in the next couple days to rebuild it and install rear disc brakes.

Thanks terry.

Well the truck is sitting outside waiting for the master cylinder to be installed and brakes bleed but now it's snowing. Guess I shouldn't complain since this is the first real snow in over two months.

Time to snowboard.

Just need to find sometime to get the brakes down in the next 5 days. Because we're trying to get down to KIng of the Hammers. I have a friend who is driving out from Maryland. Should be a good time.

Well made some more progress today. Installed all pro transfer case Ebrake. Pretty strait forward stuff. A 30mm socket is needed for the output shaft on the transfer case. Also a 17mm ratcheting closed wrecnh would've made life a lot easier. There are a couple bolts that a socket won't fit on to.

Oh yea would've been nicer if it wasn't snowing and I didn't have to shovel a couple inches away to start. Gotta get it back together to get down to KOH.

Hoping to get the dual plane intake and full desmog complete before Tuesday.

Ill snap so photos tomorrow. Didn't want to waste time taking photos in the snow. Pretty sweet setup.

We defiantly need lots more snow. I have two brand new decks that have never touched snow and won't until its worth it. May not happen this season.

It's been a little since I've updated this. I have completed the full desmog and also completed the full disc upgrade.

Since the desmog my truck is smoking a good bit and is also burning through oil pretty quickly. Any ideas why?

Well blew a head gasket today. So rebuild is in the near future. Anyone with any good rebuild kit or affordable engine recommendation. Please let me know. Also what should I rebuild or replace whole in there.

bummer about the HG. Start looking on CL for a complete motor then swap it in. Or pull the head and get it decked and gone through. The put a new water pump and a oem toyota head gasket. go from there.

Lots of other options for the future 3rz/2rz or 22r or 3.4 swaps or hell om617.
