Stumped need help.

I recently got a 1981 4wd sr5 pickup and it runs great but I have no power to anything besides starter and ignition. No lights, turn signals, brights, guages, interior lights, nothing. Fuses look fine and have power to them. Is there a main ground for everything that I can't find?

Battery to body is one ground. Usually from the negative terminal (duh Patrick) to the body right in front of the battery, right behind the headlights. Second, there's a ground cable from the negative terminal down to the engine block. Usually attaches to the AC compressor mount. No AC, no mount, it goes where the mount would normally be. There's one from the head, from one of the bolts that hold the lifting hook, to the firewall right behind the head. Fourth is the one from the alternator plug to the power steering pump bracket. In the cab, there's one right above the fuse block on the driver's side. There's another one on the passenger side, behind the kick panel, near the ECU.

AAlso, check the fusible links in the engine compartment fuse block. Pull them out of the fuse block, they come out pretty easily, and look underneath for any loose cables, screws, etc. It sound to me like that's your trouble.
That, or the key switch. Pull it out and check that the contacts are clean and free of dirt and corrosion.

I wish you good fortune!
