Flip over the moon gear, and weld in place, works like a new one!

Does anyone know what year these it? The second pic has a small tear on the ear. The part # on the new oneis 76621-39156.
I would trade this whole set for a pair of rears or an 82 4x4

The ones on the right look like the same style I pulled of my 83. Not sure what year those others came off of.

83 yota, the first two pics are of the same thing, I just took a close up up of one for a better look,, they are fronts, the other two are rear. They don't match my 82 or my sons 86, I think I can cracker-jack the rears to fit, but just want offer a trade in case someone needs them. They show up on my pad vertical so I don't know right from left.
Duckmaster, if your talking about the wire that goes through the floor, it goes to the tranny for the reverse light and 4wd light. Maybe it goes behind the air vent instead of to it.

Well then, I have an 89 with no flaps that is waiting in line for a Diesel engine transplant, I can put the fronts on it since it is getting a flatbed and mod the rears for my 82!
Thanks slacker, I didn't walk that far to check the 89.

I'm still trying to figure this a/c out even though its 19 degrees and snowing sideways. Is the part in that diagram withe the e a k I l n on it the ac amp? Is there some vsv that must be hooked up for the a/c to work? I have taken off all the vacuum lines except to the distributer and evap canisters. If you can show what sends the signals to the amp it would help. I bypassed the low pressure switch and still no power so I think it must be another signal that I don't have hooked up.
Some progress is still happening though, the glass man came out yesterday so I have windows now and I got my bumper all cut out and ready to weld up. Maybe I can finish it today and get the carpet installed. And get my roll bar welded up and prepped for paint.

The VSV is your Idle up control that increases your engine idle when your A/ C control tells the A/C compressor to come on (mounted on passenger side fenderwell). The water temperature switch (located on the passenger side of the cylinder head, about the center of the head, between the intake manifold runners-Black wire) sends a signal to a relay (mounted on the passeger side dash / kick panel) that closes a contact and allows the A/C compressor to operate (power) once the engine comes up to temperature. There is a control knob on the A/C amplifier control card that can be adjusted for the A/C compressor (power) to cut in / out based on idle RPMs.

Thanks suncomb, I think it's the water temp switch I'm missing. I'm fixing to go look.

Got my bumper tacked up, just have to take it off and make some end caps.
Suncomb, there is three temp switch things, one is in a horizontal position on the side and two verticle on top, one of which has a green plastic connector. The oneon the side I think is hooked to my temp guage. Is that the right one for he temp guage, and which of the others would be the ac temp switch?

These were all toward he front of the head though, there is a vsv in the middle but it only has vacuum line hookups

Does the vsv in the middle connect to a electic switch on the pass fender via two vacuum hoses, that then connects to two wires

The thermo switch exiting the side of the waterneck should have a flat green connector with a Black or Yellow / Black wire. Does yours have that? If it does that should be the thermo switch for the relay that controls the A/C compressor. If not, look at the other thermo switches in the front. Your temperature gauge should have a Yellow / Green wire. The VSV should have one vacuum hose connected to a vacuum source and the other hose connected to the Idle Up diaphragm on the carb. The wires (Blue and Brown or White / Black and Brown or Black and Brown) on the VSV are connected to a harness going into the cab and connected to the A/C Control Card. If you can not find the right one, post a close up photo of the three devices located at the water neck / thermostat area.
