ok here goes. this is my first post so bear with me. I picked up an 81 4x4 base model on a whim not knowing anything about 4x4 or toyotas. I am used to 2wd street cars that go 1/4 mile at a time. I will post pics as I go. first thing I needed was a battery and clutch. next was time to remove rattle can primer and bondo to prep for ureathane primer.

valve cover gasket and paint

 

window tint

 

temp bumper never had one when I bought it and still lookin for one

 

new 31x10x15 tires

 

Nice truck looks good what cha got planed for it stock restoration or going all out

 

dont know changes every day

 

Well i cant wait to see what cha go with i like those body styles. Id go with a mild lift nice wheel and tire combo and nice paint keep it simple those trucks look great with out going all out

Bright red or a light blue would look good to me.

 

I think a dark green would look good

 

man I never knew how much of a pita polishing diamond plate is... anyone here from the central texas area?
