factory rear bumper

Took a look at my original window sticker and it said my base truck came with a VIP package. Vehicle improvement package. Listed was a rear tube bumper. I'm curious if the one I have is the original bumper?

It might be. I want to say that it's a Smittybilt rear tube, but they tend to cant in on the corners.

My 84 does this and let me tell you my trick. If I coast and then put it in neutral, when I stop it will grind going into reverse. But, if I throw it in any other gear before reverse real quick, it doesn't skip a beat. So most of the time I just go into 1 and then reverse. You get quick at it. #PreW56life
