I have been scouring the internet trying to figure out if I can legalize my 90 Yota Pickup that has the 7MGE swap. I can't seem to find any kind of law other than ones that say it has to be a "newer" motor. Since the 7M was used from '86.5 to about '90 and the truck is a '90 and has been using the 22re since about '88 would that be a problem? Also because it is a I-6 and not the 4 cyl would that be a problem? If so that is stupid because the motor was used in a registered supra anyway, so I'm putting out the exact same, if not less, emissions than i would if it were in the supra.

Any help would be appreciated.
