my 2010 F150 XLT :D
All the flack I get for getting rid of my Toy, I figured I'd start a thread here at least showing off the new ride
2010 XLT F150 2wd
It's completely stock for the most part as of right now, but it's only 4 months old too

I've done some minor modifications already...
Turned the yellow reflectors on the rear view mirrors into working turn signals

Wired in an extra hidden 12v outlet to power and keep my GPS charged

Installed a second USB port to the stereo. The truck is equipped with a Microsoft Sync system, that allows me to play music off of iPods, USB hard drives, and USB thumb drives. It comes from the factory with just a single USB plug on the dash. It works fine, but I wanted the thumb drive out of site (mainly because of a bright, annoying, flashing yellow light on it). So for $5, I bought a cord and routed a second plug to the glove box

Next mods will be a bit more in depth (and more expensive
).
*Dual exhaust
*Tinting the front windows to match the rears
*Getting the bed Rhino lined
But the most dramatic mod/s that are coming is the lowering and wheels
YES, I'm lowering it! Don't bash me for it, or even try to talk me out of it. I've already gotten the front lowering struts to do the job, I've just got to get the kit to lower the rear.
This is basically it now

And after the lowering job, it'll look something like this (with different rims; I just stuck those wheels on it for the picture to see what it would look like with 20"s)

I plan on installing 22"s after the lowering job
Once those things are done, I'll start playing with the engine mods. This modular 4.6l 3v should respond well to an ECU tune, some cams, an intake (maybe a procharger; we'll see
)
But anywho, that's my ride!

nah, I'm not going to bag it

The whole purpose of getting it lower to the ground will be to get it to handle better
I'll be putting a sway bar on the rear too, and putting some good tires that'll grab the asphalt

Basically turn it into a new-age Lightning, since Ford dropped the Lightning for the Raptor. BUT, I would like to get ahold of a Raptor hood and grill to bolt on

i'd leave it as stock as possible... tasteful, not unneccesary upgrades.... i'd keep the original grill and hood... like what you did with the blinkers. that was a hella good idea.
haha i have a 1995 f-150 2wd out in the driveway, the newer trucks dont have dual tanks huh?
