96 del sol problems?

well I got this car for free its a 96 honda del sol si 5sp blown engine and sat for a year before I got hold of it
I thought how bad could it be to pull the engine on this thing. eventually muddled my way through it out and another engine in took forever never worked on a car like this or tried a project this big before.
baught a new clutch to put on it and was buttoning the last things together and went wait why are my half shafts turning in neutral????? Someone told me my clutch disk is backwards? Is it that or something else broken
not to familiar with any clutch problems

only reason I brought it up was I was bolting the slave cylinder into place and could not get it to fit into place with bolts
Ill put it back together and finish bolting it up and see how it looks

or it could be in backwards and not releasing since you couldnt get your slave on. is it just a light drag that makes tham spin or a heavier connection

thats odd..... did u replace pressure plate? make sure the pressure plate went on exactly as it came off? took me a few try's to get the plate back on correctly on my accord... there should b 2 or 3 pins on the plate, that will fit into holes on the flywheel... if the pins dont end up in the holes.... well u get the idea....
