'94 tercel Misfire....why?

'94 tercel Misfire....why?
My '94 Tercel is definitely misfiring (one cylinder is down, you can feel the loss of power) I've had it diagnosed & the OBD codes read. What can I do to fix it? I changed the spark plugs, the wires are good, but the cap & rotor are old..... will an old/ worn cap/ rotor cause a misfire? What else coudl it be?
