Bringin it Back!!

Finally scrolled down and found out there are forums past the 3rd gen Runner forum! Yay for the noob Anyway, here is my 2008 Hyosung GT250R with 2500 miles. I bought this new as a graduation gift to myself for making it alive through college (and the runner was a gift to myself for my first "real" job).

I've been modding it ever since and absolutely love riding...so lets bring this thread back and POST YOUR BIKES!!!

Oh snap this is an old thread. Oh well 99 yamaha v-star 650. This thing was great for putzing around town but i never felt like it had enough to get me down the highway (Me=230lbs) Anyways had vance and hines pipes, jetted, windshield, foot rests, sissybar, and enough saddlebags to pack a case of beer in. Dont have it anymore but the money from it was my down payment on my 04 taco so im happy.

Very nice! I definitely want to get a cruiser eventually, the sportbike isn't very comfy on those long scenic rides

Harley,, it is a 98,,, I bought the trailer in sturgis,,, made the deal over the phone with the dealer then picked it up in sturgis,,,, it was stock except for a S&S carb at the time and it pulled the trailer great, you really cant tell it is back there.,, since that time I have added S&S heads, a cam(cant remember which one). and a few other things,,,, If you thinking about a trailer, go for it,,,, If you travel much you will love it,,, once you get where your going it is just a matter of unhooking it and having fun,,,,,

I'd love to, but as they say, it's all about the level of risk you're willing to accept. Aside from the bone damage there was severe vascular and ligament damage, some significant long-term effects still today. My wife and I have our first kid on the way now. I loved riding, but I can't put that ahead of being here for my family. I'm just not willing to open that door to injury/death again at this point in life. Too many other things that I need to be around for. Maybe later though. When I'm old and bored outta my tree

Well, since this was a new post, I've had 5 bikes, no wait, 6 bikes not including my current project I just took on, so I'll post a pic of it in it's current situation.

I race alot, but haven't raced since 07 when I was still in Germany, alot of laps on Hockenhiem Ring, and a few on the Green Hell as well, but that was a divorce ago, she has my money so wrapped up now that I don't get to play with bikes as much as i would like.

Anyway, current bike is a 1977 CB550 that I'm going to either Chop, or Cafe Race, if I chop will be a rigid and will ride it in the ground, if I cafe it, will be a new tank and rear setup, then clip-on's and probably sell it as I would make more money off of a cafe - they are coming back in style

Man, lots of nice bikes...glad we revived this thread. The GTR is my first bike and I'm totally addicted now, I like to think I have the bike to get there fast ( well as fast as a 249cc can go)and the Yota to get me everywhere else.
