1987 4RUNNER: I AM COSTANTLY HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY CLUTCH LINE. I HAVE REPLACED BOTH THE MASTER AND SLAVE CYLINDER TWICE NOW. LAST REPLACEMENT WAS ABOUT A MONTH AGO. IT TOOK ME THE LONGEST TIME TO GET PRESSURE ON THE LINE, THEN RECENTLY (LAST NIGHT) IT STOPED WORKING. I AM NOW TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET IT DONE RIGHT. I HAVE NOT LOST ANY FLUID JUST PRESSURE DIES OUT. AND I AM HAVING TROBLE GETING TO SCHOOL TOMORO. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME OUT BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THIS PRESSURE IS GOING. I CANT BLEED THE LINES.

Check the pedal bracket on the firewall (where the pedal is bolted to) mine broke and I had the same problem, when I would push the clutch in the bracket would flex so it wasn't actually moving any fluid but it felt normal. also if this was posted in the correct place (this is the classifieds) it would help

Yup, check the pedal bracket and the pedal rod adjustment. The '89 to '94 trucks and 2nd gen 4Runners have problems with that bracket breaking in the upper left hand corner, maybe it's possible the earlier 4Runners have the same problem. It's a good place to start looking. Good luck!
