I might be getting a 1988 4runner with a motor that has a large knock it in. I'm looking for a junkyard motor to put in it for now so i can drive it to shops and stuff. I'm going to be putting a lift and bigger tires on it, so I need a motor that runs but doesn't need to last me years. i don't have that much money either, so could some one help me out?

I have two 22re blocks...

 

I believe I need a whole motor because it's got a large knock in the motor...I might buy one of the heads off of you, for spare parts if I get the 4runner..
