FS: Powerbook G4 15 inch
I am selling my powerbook g4. Friend backed out of the deal because they bought a 500 dollar compaq, hahaha.
Here are the specs:
1.67ghz G4 Processor
1.5GB ram
100gb 5400rpm hard drive
15 inch screen with upgraded graphics card (128mb graphics ram)
bluetooth, airport wireless
Superdrive dvd burner
firewire 400/800
usb 2.0
backlit keyboard
includes all original disks/cables and manuals, also 2 wall chargers. also includes a disk with all the updates. EDIT: also includes iLife 06
Its in perfect condition, brand new battery, and still covered under warranty. Also still have the original box. Only 9 months new
asking $1200 shipped. (thats what they are going for on ebay) Let me know if you are interested, or what you think about the price. I am trying to get as much for it as I can, since I really need the money from this
Payment would be by cashiers check, paypal would have a large fee, if you want to pay by paypal, let me know and I can factor in the fees and come up with a price. I would not ship it out until it clears my bank account!
I can take pictures if anyone wants them. (it would be nice not to have to take pics since it is already packaged in its original box, but I will if requested)
Thanks!

just need some advice here, this guy emailed me, and we came into agreement on price, then he sends me this email, sounds kinda shady, need some advice because I really need the money from this computer, but dont want to get scammed
As soon as you reply to this email, I will send the money to your paypal account.
There's just one thing, I'm assuming you live in the US, and for your info, I live in Canada, Ottawa to be exact. Since I have to pay duties (6%) and canadian tax (15%) which is a total of 21%, which is $252, the price is quite steep after it crosses the border.
My question is when you declare the value of the PB, can you delcare for less than $1200 so that the border crossing fees (21%) are not as high as $252?
Don't get me wrong, I still want your PB. If you cannot do it, I will still take it.
Just reply as soon as possible so I can wire the money to your paypal account and you can ship it as soon as possible because I live in Canada and it may take a week to get here depending on where you live.
Sorry about the long rant!
Thanks,

No damage at all, has always been kept inside a case when traveling (spent most of the time on my desk at home though)
If you would like me to take pictures, I will, I know it is a big investment and you might want to see actual pictures, but I can assure you that it is in like new condition.
