FS 2001 VW Jetta 1.8T Wolfsburg
This is the car I parked when i bought the truck right before I had my shoulder rebuilt. I'm not going to put it back on the road. This is my craigslist posting. Pic requests to deejoker @ gmail dot com (no spaces.)
No spamming, I just have three cars now, two that don't run, and frankly, I need the money now badly and can't take on more projects.
FS:
2001 VW Jetta Wolfsburg Edition
16" BBS RXII's with Fuzion tires
Black with tan interior
1.8T motor, never chipped
Techtonics catback, into dump pipe, still have the Borla muffler
Neuspeed/Bilstein Sport Suspension (approx 1.75" front drop, 2" rear)
5-spd
Power Moonroof
VDO boost gauge mounted to pillar in a 42nd Draft Designs pod
42nd Draft Designs smoked side markers
Car has 93K miles, I parked it 2 years ago due to an injury that prevented me from driving a manual transmission.
Comes with:
VW OEM "Monster" rubber floor mats front and rear
VW OEM Aluminum-look shift knob
Alpine head unit (with CD)
prewired for stereo (all 4 speakers, amps, and sub, with power wiring in place)
Audi TT aluminum pedals with matching dead pedal
Upgraded OEM VW oil pan with built-in steel skid plate
K&N drop-in filter
New MAF sensor (I have one, needs to be installed.)
EXTREMELY RARE prototype Hofele trunk lid spoiler. There were only 25 made on the intial prototype run and I purchased it brand new from them as a part of the VWVortex group buy.
Has had the VW recalls done, including the infamous window regulators, before I ever had them fail.
Needs:
New windshield
left rear tail light (some kicked it in)
has small dent in the hood from getting hit by a retread on I-95 shortly before I parked it. This also caused the cracked windshield.
The car needs some TLC. A good detailing, coat of wax, and some loving, and a little patience and it'll be winning awards. Take it off my hands, I hate seeing it sit there.
Car was properly stored in terms of fluids, battery needs charging.
Current Pictures with email, but I'll be out of town Feb 22-24.

If you guys don't mind, anyone that requests pics/info from here, please refer to this thread. Just getting tired of automatic spambots. Thanks!

Jeez, sorry guys. Forgot to put a price in the body, the craigslist post had it in the title. Anyway, $4500 and its yours.
I have a few older pics but can't find my digital camera anywhere.
the Thule rack is not included, nor are the Borbets. The rims currently are the BBS RXII's that are on it in the salt-covered pic *just back from skiing* a couple years ago. Believe it or not, decent all-seasons and it handled remarkably well in the white stuff, just make sure you turn the traction control off first!

Olharleyman-
Nice to see you're still out there posting! I'm in Halethorpe, SW of 695 and 95 interchange.
FWIW, if you want a parts truck/fixer, my 4Runner is for sale as well. I'd love to see it go to someone that wants to fix a freeze plug.
