I hate to have my first post here a classified, but that's what I get for not registering sooner...Anyhoo...She's a '77, and a good overall driver, but by no means perfect. The truck runs beautifully, 4 hi and low work perfectly, and the transmission shifts smoothly. ODO says 125k, but it said that when I bought it too
I'd guess around 135-40k, but I honestly don't know for sure. There is some rust poping up here and there on the body, but nothing too serious yet. (although, to be honest, the rear spring mounts are going to need attention soon. The rest of the frame is solid.) It could still easliy be repaired without too much work. The truck will cruise right up to 70 on the highway, but it like most 40's it's much happier around 55-60. The engines runs quietly, always starts right up, and idles like a sewing machine.
Some of the good points are:
The truck is basically a daily driver for me. I hate to sell it, but right now it's the same old story, I really need something better on gas. I'd welcome anyone who's interested to come by and take her for a spin. It's always easier to go over a car in person anyway... Feel free to contact me with any questions, or pm me for my phone number. Here are a few photos, I have more I can e-mail if you'd like to see them. Lastly, the truck is in Portland, ME, and I'm asking $7500.

- new exhaust
- recetly rebuilt weber carb
- runs cool even on hot days (New 4 Row radiator installed this winter)
- both heaters work great (front was restored with one of shane's kits in Feb)
- nice maple dash
- sycamore tailgate, although it's looking a bit weathered at the moment...
- good seats
- drives tight
- Before storage this fall I adjusted the valves, set the timing, adjusted the card, installed new points, and cleaned+gapped the plugs.
- Some rust popping through in the body here and there
- Master Cylinder is a little leaky, but the trucks stops well
- rear spring mounts could use some attention in the near future
