Feeler: '98 5vz-fe (3.4l V6)

I totalled my '98 4Runner so I am deciding if I want to buy it back and swap in a 1UZFE. If I did that I would not want to sit on this motor, as I would need the money to help fund the 1UZFE conversion.

So would anyone be interested in a 1998 5VZ-FE (3.4L V6) with 115,000 miles on it? It would come out of a 5speed 4Runner. I have everything you would need for a swap into a 3VZ-E 4Runner or Pickup. Engine, Wiring harness, ECU, PS Pump, Alternator. Everything needed.

I would be looking to get around $2000.

Anyone interested?

Thanks

I tried to send you an email, but I must have done something wrong. I have an interest, plus I am in the Portland area. Send me an email so we can talk about it. Thanks.

914runner, did you put the 3.4 in yourself? And do you still have it?

This is the one out of my '98 3rd gen. 4Runner. So it is the one from the factory.

I have a '99 3.4L in my '91 2nd gen. 4Runner

914runner, Do you still have the engine? And if so can I get some pics of it, and do you think the engine was affected in the crash?

Yes, I still have it. Right now I am just seeing how much interest there is in the motor to help me decide if I do in fact want to buy the vehicle back from the insurance company and swap in a 1UZFE.

So right now the motor is still in the vehicle.

The only thing that I could see wrong with it is the radiator fan needs replaced, the fan clutch may need replaced and the plastic timing belt cover may need replaced. I didnt look very hard at it, but I doubt the timing cover needs replaced.

Thanks

If you could get some pics up, that would be great I was looking to pu a 350 into my 2nd gen, but if the engine is sound and looks good, I might be definetely interested.
