Anyone Interested In A Nwor 22RE Tri Y Header

I have a used North West Offroad tri Y header. I purchased it new about five or six years ago and now have no need for it as I now have a turbo setup. I was just wondering if anyone would be interested and how much would it be worth to people. It was 450-480 I think when I originally got it. I don't have a picture of it yet but I can post one later. It was all nice and chrome but now it has the normal old header look. It is still structurally sound with no leaks or cracks.

This header is for a 22re in case there is any confusion. I noticed racer44 has a 3.0.

The bung on the header is for the EGR valve if that's what you were talking about. The Manifold is for a 22RTE the factory turbo engine that was available until about 1987 or so.

I believe the bung on the header pictured is for the O2 sensor for the years where the O2 sensor was on the manifold. The one I have does not have the O2 sensor on that location. My trucks O2 sensor was under neath the cab.

What about the exhuast return tubing?i cant remember the tecnical term, its the copper rail that recycles the exhaust. Does that hook up or do you have to do something else with that with a header?

No that works as well with the header. I would recomend blocking of your egr anyway if your can though. LCEngineerins sells the plates and hardware. Its like 30 bucks or so.

My 87 22R had a small piece of flex pipe that connected to that bung and the exhaust recirc. and no O2 sensor. My friends 86 22RE was the same except he had an o2 sensor that was down on the exhaust pipe underneath the cab if I remember right.

I don't know for sure. You may be right. I do think that NWOR offers one with the o2 sensor port up high on the header becasue some of the trucks did come like that. I remeber when I ordered it they asked about that. Black 4runner we just sold had it there. It was an 86 I think. Maybe and 87. Not totally sure but the o2 sensor was on the exhaust manifold or close to it anyway. Not down where you friends 86 has it. My 94 has it down under the cab.
