sorry but no the tail light guards are screwed in and it would leave damage if they were removed and it would look wierd with just tail light guards and no brush guard sorry

 

How is your truck a Sport, that package wasn't even available in 98?

 

well i don't know a ton about 4Runners but it has the hood scoop and it says it's a sport when you run the vin and it says sport on my insurance i'm taking pictures here in a couple minutes and i will post them and you can tell me what it is

 

I never could understand why people would put those taillight gaurds on, knowing they screw in. Do you travel through that much dense woods to have a need for them? Guess its just not my taste. If you take off some of that stuff to bring the price down to where it needs to be, I would consider it. I love the '98 year.

What happened to the previous engine?

 

the engine threw a rod and the mechanics at the Toyota dealer never could figure out why, I always did regular oil changes and when it happened it had plenty of good oil in it.
