how much for just the window and the regulatorw/motor? my actaul tail gate is in good condition. I think the glass is too, but the spot where it mounts to the regulator is all rusted and the heating element doesn't work. Let me know, and shipping for 60035.

The rear gate is differant for the 90 with a rear mounted spare tire. The tag and back-up lights are relocated.

do you know if the tracks are connected to the glass or the regulator? If its to the regulator, i'll take the whole tailgate. if its to the glass, i just want that.

I have a 94 and the tracks(channels) "attach" to the glass and will slide right off the regulator. I just purchased from Toyota the tracks(channels) and fillers(rubber inserts) $60/for all 4 pieces (ouch) but my homemade repair didn't last long. My internals all seem to working OK except the keyswitch doesn't operate the window. (I've ohm'd the switch fine so it must be in the wiring). I may be interested in the shell if the internals go separate - if I wind up getting the gate I may pickup local.

What I really need is for someone to explain how in the heck you get the tracks and the rubber inserts installed onto the glass - these do not bolt to the glass - they would be more like 'pressed' on. I thought of using soapy water but I think that may leave it 'slippery' and cause the window to bump out later. My next idea is to take the glass and tracks to Toyota before I get pissed and start pounding on it with a rubber mallet and break the glass.
