Well since there is interest, let me give the specifics of everything about the truck, just so everyone knows everything:
SAS/Suspension: the sas was done using allpro hardware and an 83 front axle. The main part of it (welding the spring hangars and axel prep) were all done well. However, the original shock towers are utilized. The rear suspension is all leaf and shackle (alcan leafs i believe) no blocks. So basically the suspension needs new shock towers and shocks.
Drivetrain: the engine is at 173k. It starts right up, runs smooth and pulls better than I expected. The truck does not blow any smoke or anything like that. There is nothing that ought not be in the oil (ie moisture) The clutch and tranny work great, the t-case shifts smoothly. The axels are geared to 5.29's and give the tuck better power than I would think. Only the front has a locker (loc right). The exhause hangs a bit low and the truck is loud. It sounds good though. Everyone thinks it is a v6.
Wheels/Tires: the 4 37X13.5 procomp x-terrains are mounted on black steelies and have about 50% tread. The spare is the same tire, almost brand new.
Interior: It could use a good cleaning. The dash is not cracked and in generally good shape. the cloth on the door panels is loose and there is a tear in the drivers seat on the side. The stereo is not worth mentioning and there is no A/C. The heat works well though.
Body: The body is in generally good shape, but a show truck it is not. There is a good amount of pin striping and the tailgate is dented.
The Bad: The only 2 real issues right now (besides leaking front axel seals, but I will include the rebuild kit I have) are: there is a bad steering shimmy from 40-50 mph. My mechanic said it was either tire balance or a bent rim. There is no bump steer or death wobble when driving and hitting a pothole or something. Also, the speedo cable needs either to be lubed or replaced as it squeals.
Basically it is a great truck for the backyard tinkerer to (like me) to have. It runs great and the major work is all done, and most anyone can do the rest to make it whatever they want. That was my reason for buying it, but it just isnt the right time for me. I love the truck and want to keep it, but i figure it doesn't make sense as i dont see myself using it much if at all.
What i am looking for: I should have said this originally. Most likely i am looking at an 89-95 pickup. 4cyl, 4X4, A/C would be great, something in the low 100k miles range. The goal would be to use it as is now and build it up at a later date. A truck like that ought to be worth about as mine. Because it needs some work and the body isnt great, and gained from the SAS regarding value are sort of cancelled out.
Anyway, that everything! I will try to get more pics this weekend.

That looks like a grille and headlights from a 3rd gen 4Runner....looks good, did you do that or buy it that way?
If you did that....did it just fit right in there or did you have to do lots of modifying?
