80 series coils
#1
I have the stock front and rear coils out of my 95 80 series. each pair is $55 shipped.

Is one of the rears longer/shorter than the other? I'm looking to get rid of my side-to-side lean and need a short coil. Obviously you want to sell them together so I can buy both and sell the "tall" set.
Thanks

I am not going to be able to check until sunday because I am out of town as of yesterday. I will also try and get some pics up for you guys as well.

Yes one is shorter than the other. The one on the right is from the passenger side. All of the springs were labeled when they were removed.

I'm interested in the rears, but I'm gonna check around and see if anyone wants a 'long' set first to recoup my losses

That's great....except one thing. If the springs you want are for your 97 then you need his front coils. Since I have a 94, I need the rear coils, so that wouldn't really work out.
I appreciate the help though. And as far as I know the fronts are the same side to side so you could just buy his front set and be done with it

Hey rusty, do the 80 series rear coils fit a 2nd gen 4runner. If so what lift will the long verses short give for a stock detup? I may be interested.

There isn't a huge difference between the two- I'm just a bit anal when it comes to the way my vehicle sits. The short coil gives roughly 3.5" while the long coil gives about 4". Either way you'll want to get the extended panhard drop bracket, brake line and either raise your LSPV or do what I did and just zip tie the valve to make it think it's loaded all the time; otherwise the brakes will think the vehicle has no weight in the rear and the rear brakes won't do their job. Confused? I am

Since this is a for sale thread if you have any more questions feel free to PM me

Are you still checking the wrap count on those front springs. If the number is right consider them sold.
