oh, and Im taking it today to get the stripes taken off, the vehicle professionally buffed out, and then clear coated. Thanks.

Bump... for a nice 2nd gen.. Would you be willing to part with the fender and snorkel assembly? I can send you my fender as well... but it's black. Seems like you know a good painter though...

what kind of mileage does this thing get?? trades???

The mileage isnt all that great...probly around 14-15 around town, little better on the highway. What are you wanting to trade? Id prefer just to sell it.

Big Ben, Man, the only way I'd meet you is if it was on your dime. I cant afford to drive 800 miles round trip, which would be gas for two vehicles (one to get back in) or the flight back if I was to do that. Id say it would be cheaper for you to catch a flight here and then drive back.

I forgot to mention this DOES COME WITH BRAND NEW 33" A/T TIRES AND NEVER INSTALLED DOWNEY 26mm TORSION BARS.

I don't have a suby yet, but I really want to get one (My dad used to have a Suby GL Wagon...heheh that's where my love started). I have a 2000 2.5RS all lined up to buy. I'm selling the truck to help get the RS because it gets better gas mileage, that and I don't 4wheel as much as I'd like to right now... plus, I'm usually driving by myself. With the kid and wife we drive the Yaris... Do you have one?? I'm also on I-club.com

Sorry to hijack my own thread (BUY MY TRUCK!!!!!) but yeah, I just bought a 99 RS and thats why Im selling the rig. Im a college student that drives a LOT so I need the better gas mileage. It has a Weapon R intake, Weapon R fuel pres. reg., borla header, Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley, STi struts, and a 20 mm rear sway bar. Bad. Anyway. You'll love the Sub.

Now buy my rig peeps.

Exact same reason I'm getting a different car... I'm actually checking out an '04 WRX... but I can't lie and say the GC chassis isn't my fave... but it just doesn't have the engine that I want... At least with the WRX I can slap some STi 2.5L blocks on and throw a bigger turbo and intercooler, rather than have to do that AND put stronger gears in the RS's tranny, you know?
