I have a 3.0 engine, tranny and t-case out of a '90 pickup. Engine has about 12k on it. It is a remanufactured engine I bought and it recently blew a HG and will not be put back in. Got water in the heads but not in the bottom. HG blew, started running hot and I shut it off. Has not been started since. Motor ran strong until then. I am selling the complete engine wiring harness and ECU. Have 5spd tranny and t-case for sale too. Tranny has a B&M short shifter in it. Also have Downey headers (chrome not ceramic) and a K&N FIPK,less than a year old. Headers are a little blue (normal) but no rust. I will consider taking some of the parts off but only down to the long block so dont ask for enternals. Will only ship headers and FPIK. I payed $1800 for the engine and have all the receipts. I am located in Buckeye,AZ just outside of Phoenix.

If I may ask- where did you get the short throw shifter???

 

I got it from summit racing. It is for a Tacoma V6. The transmission are the same. No modification, will drop right in. $169 is what I paid.

My 3.0 seems to be going down hill faster than I can repair it. I may be interested in the motor, headers and maybe even the FIPK.

Yes that's right. It only has 12,000 miles on the rebuild. Engine still good though. I plan on a 5.0 and T-5. This is my daily driver so I want mind the high gear ratio of the T-5. SSSSHHHHHHHHHH (my sleeper)

wasnt there a warranty??, then you could sell the running good motor for a little more to recoup some losses??? or i guess if your just sick of the dang thing and just want to get rid of it

Does anyone know if the power steering pump is interchangeable with a '93 3.0 4wd 5spd?
I am pretty sure it is, just asking.

Can I get some pics of the FPIK and headers- also you wouldn't be interested in selling the short throw would you? I could send you my shifter if you need it to put it back to stock. I would buy the whole tranny if it weren't for that whole 2,000 miles away thing.
