Nice and clean. but I would suggest that you upload some pictures to photobucket.com or some other free photoservice and post pictures here using the image code (3rd line down on photobucket after you upload the pic's)
craigslist is nice since it is free but sucks because a potential buyer can't enlarge the pictures for more detail. Reason I would do that is it looks like there is just a roller fairlead and no winch cable( winch would be major plus)
Also might want to include overall mileage.. Good luck on a fast sale...I would love to have it...

Not to be nosey, but did you advise him to sell the truck because something's wrong with it? I'm really interested in this truck but not sure how to get it to Maryland. How's it handle/drive on the road? Are the longfield's 27 or 30 spline? I'm going to look into the auto transport thing you mentioned, but I'm hesitant to buy something sight unseen.

OK, this is weird. I had an 84 SR5 for a few years that I bought in San Antonio in 95 and then sold it (needed the money) to some brothers that were in town for Thanksgiving weekend when I lived in Dallas. I remember they were planning on taking it back up North since it was rust free and you didn't find that up there.
So, is this my old 4runner? I can't view pics on craigslist from work, but I miss that gold thing. If it is, can I buy it back?????

If you got time and don't mind, please check it out and let us know the entire condition. I'd love to fly up and drive it back (if it handles/drives good on the road) but I'm about 1200 miles away in Maryland.

Alright I know this truck and the owner very well. Hopefully I'm not putting words in his mouth, I'm just trying to help a friend out.
When he says it is clean, it is very, very, very clean. I personally would not hesitate to drive this across the country. I rode in it for 10 hours on the way to and from the black hills and it drives very nice.
Was never wheeled hard. He decided it was too nice to wheel, so he built a rockcrawler.
If I remember correctly he put a rebuilt motor in it a few years ago. I don't think he drove it much so it shouldn't have too many miles on it.
He literally babied this truck.
As far as I know everything works. Not sure about AC, but I wouldn't be suprised.
If I had the cash I would buy it today and drive it to Colorado.
PS - Yes
Rollbar - Yes

I have tons of pictures of this truck, but unfortunately most of them are photographs, not digital. If I find some time tonight, and can get my scanner working I will post some up.

For anyone that has been following this thread, we confirmed that this was my 4runner. I purchased it in San Antonio in 1995 and it was in mint shape at the time, but bone stock. I sold it to pay down the balance of my first Tacoma...you do what you have to do.
All4runners did one hell of a job on this truck. If I can make it happen, I would buy back this truck in a heartbeat. Anyone want to buy an 89 SR5 4runner? there might be one for sale shortly.

Sick truck - if I hadn't just bought a new car I would be all over it. Just out of curiosity, would you consider selling the kayline seperate? We are in the beginning of hurricane season here and the bikini just isn't cutting it anymore.
