You can get tires cheap, but you end up paying through the nose over the life of the tires by having to pay separately for balancing/rotation. I buy at WalMart, Sam's or BJ's. Decent price, lifetime balance/rotate.

discount/ americas tire is who i deal with. my friend works for em so i get the bro deal. But my dad swears by les schwab.. he knows alot of the guys who work at the local one. as far as americas tire goes, they dont keep alot of Mud terrain/ aggressive truck tires instock, compared to street car and truck tires they dont sell enough to keep a large stock of them. they will how ever order them in at no charge. I would stop in and haggle with them, you may be suprised how much they may lower the price if they are slow. when i got my 35in goodyear MTRs no one in the portland metro area had them instock and they had to be shiped up from the wharehouse in AZ or NV or something.. only took em 2 days to get them up here.
