which wheels

hey guys new member here. i just picked up a 97 4wd 4runner limited and i really love it. i got the truck with a book of maintenance records. the truck is really solid i just need to change the rotors out as they are warped. anyways my question now is which wheels to get to make the wheels flush with the fender flares.
im wanting to get some pro comp 16x8 black steel wheels but don't know what offsets/back spacing will make the wheels sit flush with the flares. im not too keen on the sunken battleship look. if you guys have any suggestions of other black steel wheels let me know also. looking forward to using and contributing to this forum.

Go with a 15x8 rim and 3.75 backspacing... very popular size and looks great.

as far as "look" I went with Cragar Soft 8 rims. very popular rim

Basically, go with what YOU think looks good... but get a 16x8 or 16x10 ( if you want your wheels to stick out further ) BE SURE TO GET 3.75 BACKSPACING...

Pro comp, Unique, Cragar... alot of people make steelies. and yes, 4" will work. you should confirm that with someone who drives a 3rd gen though. I have a 2nd gen 4runner.

4" backspacing with a 16x8 will be fine. it may even stick out a little if yours is an SR5
