Somethings wrong? or the revo's really eat gas? My driving habits are good comparable to my grandma's.
im running about 42psi on the road (305/70/16) m/t's

I'm at 32 also, had them higher for a while, but it was clear they were over inflated. When it drive though wet patches then park the middle would be dry, and the outside still wet, showed that the middle was making more contact with the ground & would eventually cause them to wear wrong. Same thing driving across dusty ground, the middle got clean right away. My experience with revo's is that they have a pretty small correct inflation range, a little too high or low and they'll wear funny. Kinda like the chalk test i've seen on here to determine the correct inflation.

when you change tire size, your correct tire pressure is one of which you have even tire contact across the tread. i run about 26 psi. anything more, only the center of my tires are touching the ground.

Is that going to give me better gas mileage and longer tread life?

Generally, the harder the tire (higher pressure), you get less rolling resistance.
This should equate to somewhat better mileage. As for tread life, if you set the pressure too high, the center of the tread tends to wear quicker that the outer edges. Too low a pressure, and the reverse is the case, in addition to increasing the operating temp of the tire because of additional sidewall flex.
You sorta have to figure it out for yourself. I run mine at 35. Tried 37, but the steering tended to wander. But your vehicle may be different.

mine are not the same size but
Mine are not the same size but I run 25 in the rear and 32 in the front, I also have a pickup with a light fiberglass bed so the rear is very light and the 3.0 up front so the front run a little more.... Just my .02
