what do you guys think?

I've had good luck with duratrac's and Kelly safari tsr's in the past. But I'm moving to the southwest in a few weeks and am looking at 3 ply sidewall tire options. I've narrowed it down to the new dick cepek fun country tire or bfg at ko's? Size will be 265/75r16 on 02 Tacoma dbl cab. What are your thoughts? Truck will be used for commuting, weekend off roader/back country exploring in the desert and up into the mountains. Any other suggestions?

I've only had dynapro m/t's for about 5k mi, and have loved them offroad. On pavement they're wonderful (for a m/t) with less noise than expected. But IF I were to have gotten a different tire, I would've gone with the duratracs.
Like I said though, these dynapros are fantastic off-road.

Yes, I am a fan of the mtr's with Kevlar but they were out of my budget that I set.
I had considered the dynapro mt's strongly but kind of eliminated them because I'm a big believer in tire siping.

Ultimately I ended up going with duratrac's again.

Meh, makes the tread wear out faster. Besides, one shouldn't be speeding through the rain or snow anyway! XD
