trxus muds or claw radials

should i get trxus muds or MT claw radials. Price is not a problem b/c i can get both tires for the same price. My biggest concern is which has best street ware. A local 4x4 shop around me said the claws have better street ware and do just ass well off road.before i talked to him i had my mind made up on the trxus but then he told me he was running the claws and the loves them. for those who say changing a flat will be bad b/c the flat might be on the wrong side the spare was meant for is not a problem b/c i am not even going to get a 5th spare. He was the trxus was a basic superswamper with a different tread pattern and will not get good street ware but in all the tire test that fourwheeler and other mags. say they are great on the street.
any advice or opinions would be great.
thaks,
alan
oh yeah size i'm going to get is a 33x12.50 on a 15x10 street lock black rim. not the regular black rim everyone else has. i like to be different.

Truxus by leaps and bounds. They are a good, solid MT. The claws wear very, very poorly hand have virtually no lateral traction.

Yep, VERY heavy, but designed for road with occassional offroad use, which by the way, is spectacular. Love mine. Also, the Claws are a directional tread, which is a detracting quality for some.

The TrXus is a good looking tire, too...

According to peterson's fourwheel offroad mud tire test the baja claw beat out the trxus as far as fourwheel ability is concerned. Fourwheeler went so far as to say that the baja claw is the closest thing to a bogger they have ever used. BTW peterson's fourwheel test truck was a 80's yota, so that kinda sold me right there when i saw what the yota could do with those tires. I just thought you might want to know what the mag's had to say about baja. Hope it helps in your decision.

i'd go for the trxus tires as well. just about the least expensive thing out there(besides LTBs ) and they should work well off-road.

also, petersons tested BIAS claws, which have a deeper, more agressive pattern than the radials
