Tire pressure for 35's
Could anyone running 35's or close tell me what kind of pressure you are running for the street. I just put my 35's on for the first time and its too damn cold out to go playing around in a parking lot trying to figure out what pressure to run. Besides I was freezing just putting the tires on and I will still have to play with the alignment. BTW they are x-terrains 35x12.5/15 on an 86 4runner. Thanks for any help.

Yeah, it's tough running big tires on a light rig to get proper tire wear. Perfect wear seems to occur at about 20 rear and 25 front, but the truck feels bouncy and mileage suffers. The tires firm up and the suspension works best at around 30 rear and 34 front, but the tires wear in the center then. I run 30 front and 25 rear and it seems to be the best compromise.
