Hi Guys!


I am trying to polish out my stock alloys on my 86 4runner.
I know a few years back, I saw a great site on redoing the SR5's by sanding and polishing. I can't find it now.

From searching, I've found this:

In our tech section, I basically found only pictures... not of the process other than sandblasting.

Can anyone lend some help in finding a great how-to in refinishing our wheels?

PS: I have PM'ed paddle, but I didn't get a response, so I thought I would ask.

Got a local place here that restores rims that are busted, curbed, etc.
I got a set of nice OEM alloys for cheap and then only cost me $100 to have one rim completely fixed. Well worth it. You might ask around town.

I did finally get a response from paddlenbike, he said it was all lost when the site crashed.
