Recomendations for '87 2wd replacement tires

Sorry if this thread is boring to you 4x4 guys....

I will be needing new tires for my 1987 2wd p/u in a few months as my old ones are showing signs of dry rot. I am going to keep the stock tire size of p195/75/R14 but have found only a few choices. I am leaning towards the Toyo Extensa A/S but would like some recommendations. Also has anyone heard of Alpha Dean tires? The PO put them on my truck (with white walls showing) but I have never heard of them. I do not need the tires right away, just doing a little research.

Thanks!

Sounds like you are visiting Lee Schwab by the two brands you mention. I know shopping at Schwab is attractive because they have stores across the PNW so if you have an issue you can warranty it at any store but I would consider America's tire or tire factory too.
Personally I am not impressed with toyo's after having a few sets on both 2WD cars and a couple of trucks...

Thanks dropzone!
I am open to shopping at different stores and looking at different brands. I have only gone to Les Schwab for flat tire repairs and have never bought tires from them.

Are there any brands or models to stay away from?
