Question About Wheel Backspacing...

Question About Wheel Backspacing...
I'm looking at possibly buying some new wheels, but wanna make sure I'm understanding this right, so any and all help would be appreciated.
The Rough Country suspension lift I'm considering recommends wheel backspacing of 3.75. The wheels I'm looking at are 4.49 backspacing. So, I'm thinking that's too much backspacing, and I'll need some spacers around the .75 mark.
Am I looking at all this correctly???
