Is he missing a lug nut at 5 oclock? The first thing when I looked at those were "those look like re-treads"

You can tell From the sidewall of the tire that they are genuine retreads. You can see the left overs from the melting process. When the treads on recaps rip off, they can cause major damage to whatever vehicle you have them on.

Recaps for sure. Look like some generic all terrains I have seen.

SOB!!! He is. Man... I hope the dealer didn't "forget" to put one on while they "forgot" to tell him they were retreads. I'll need to talk to that boy asap!

That is simply not posable to screw up a tire injection and have the tread lugs come out squre and clean like that. Re treads? They sure are sweet!

My vote is definatly retreads.......if you're interested in a fun little game, just drive behind your buddy on the freeway and dodge the chunks of tread he'll throw at 75mph
