I like my MTR Kevlars so far. I have about 750 miles on them so far.

Haven't had them off road yet but I know they'll do great.
Aren't any louder then my old KM1's

The tread compound seems a little soft but we'll see how long they last..

x2 on the mtr's as well. I've wheeled with a couple guys that have them and nothing but good things to say about them.

I've been eyeing them since they came out. Haven't decided yet if I'll go with them or another set of Destination MT or something else. Depends on the deal I guess.

Thinking about a larger rim diameter though 16" or 17"

What do you got, how do they perform?
For mostly street, occasional dirt or snow use, I'd go with TXRs.

Great on the street, even on Oregon's wettest days. Very resistent to hydro-planing. Great in the dirt, and fair in the mud too. Vastly superior to any tire I've run in the snow, they're like magic on snow and ice(and I ran them without studs!). I couldn't get stuck in the snow with those tires even when I tried.

And they sell them at Les Schwab. I paid less than $200 a piece for 35x12.5's.

The only thing I can say I didn't care for about them was they weren't very puncture resistent. So they weren't as trail-worthy as I might have liked. Stay away from sharp rocks and sticks. I had a sharp tree branch go right through the sidewall on one like a hot knife through butter. And a couple occasions where a larger/sharper than average piece of gravel went straight through the treads, and the steel belts, while flying down a fire road around 50 mph.

I absolutely LOVE my Toyo MT's had em on my runner now my pickup, my dad has em on his 91 pickup as well. He's put close to 13k on em and they've worn about an 1/8 of an inch. They will wear like steel and do great in mud and snow. I commuted about 45 miles to work all last winter in snow and ice and with 4 wheel drive that truck handled amazing. However the Toyo's admittedly are somewhat pricey.

Love my km2!!! Been on 6 hour drives with little noise. Handles very well as a daily driver. I have around 25000 on my set and it barely shows. They hold up to all types of terrain very well. Airdown in sand and they were amazing. Dig nicely into the mud an clean off very quickly.
Getting 33x 10.5 next

Dunno if they do this deal by you but last time I was at firestone getting aligned (lifetime alignment) i was talking with the sales rep about tires and he said that they always offer a buy 3 get 1 free to anyone with a firestone credit card even if you just sign up for one. Might be worth giving them a call. They're a nice looking tire - very comparable to the old bfg km's - and are reviewed well.

Goodyear MT/R's!! They are a bit noisy and on the expensive side but they look ridiculous and can get through just about anything. By far the best tire I have ever had on my truck!!

Sounds cool, I don't do credit cards. Been bitten by them and now just don't have any, just a personal thing.

I've had good luck with my 35x12.5x15 Micky T Baha MTZ. on road manners seem fine. Went on a 6 hour trip, with a slight hum, but still a smooth ride. The tread is more noticable when turning and braking but thats the same with any MT. I love them off road. Will take me pretty much anywhere I point my truck. Had a few friends prefer them over irocs. But you pay for them.
