New Tires - what would you do

So im in a little dilemma. I finally decided on what tires im going to get, goodyear Duratracs. Now im dilemma is to get them now, or wait till summer. I have At least 2000 +- 500 miles to go before i would get them or i could get them in a couple weeks. Americas tire is willing to price match the the place where i would be getting them in the 2000 miles in Reno. Here is what my tread looks like right now.

This is the worse of them all:

the rest look like this:

What would you do?
Thanks

If he gives you his word that he'll give you the same deal on the tires in the summer that he is offering you now, wait till the summer. Otherwise, snatch them up now...you can always store them someplace and wait till summmer to mount them.

If you think that deal is too good to pass up right now, here's what I'd do personally. I'd get on craigslist and get a second set of Toyota OEM rims. Mine cost me ~$50 for all four. I see them quite frequently now in my area. Mount the new tires on the new set of rims. Wear your tires out, then mount the new wheels on. Then you now have an extra set of wheels to put more aggressive tires on or just sell it for what you bought the other rims for. It's more work, but that's how I run things.

If it were me I'd do the 2500 miles on the old tyres and change em when I get back. But I'm cheap. Do you have a wife/girlfriend/kids that you're taking on the trip?

X2 on the stocker set of rims, and buy them . Take the trip and carry a good spare. RUN them into the ground, then trade them out! lol
