New tires 1988 Toyota Pickup 4x4
I was trying to get opinions for new tires on my pickup. It’s a 1988 Toyota Pickup, xtra cab, 22re, 4x4 used primarily on paved roads and 5% on unpaved roads like gravel or dirt. It’s my work truck so it’ll be driven all seasons and where I live it rains 9 months out of the year and has the potential to snow. The truck came with 31’s but I feel they are not needed when I buy new tires. I was thinking about going to oem which is 225/75R15 or as close to it as I can. What brand and tire would you guys recommend just for everyday use on wet roads and able to handle mild snow and ice? Thanks in advance

Happy with my Cooper Discovery All-Terrains. 31's. They hum like any All-Terrains do.
Saved $100 on four tires by buying them from "Discount Tire Direct on Ebay, Had them shipped (FREE) to Discount Tire Co shop, and paid shop standard install rates (approx $16?) with tire balance/rotate contract and road hazard insurance.
PLEASE KEEP FONT COLOR DEFAULT ("AUTOMATIC" OR WHITE ON BLACK), ELSE HARD TO READ ON COMPUTER WEB BROWSER.

I ran into this question years ago when I first got my '86. I went with the BFG 225/75/15 AT KO's. I can report that they are quiet, balanced, and still capable tires. They really improved the ride quality over the junk tires that someone had installed. I've had them on the truck for over 10 years and 30k miles and they still ride the same. Very happy with these tires.
