Help Michelin Tires!!
#41
UPDATE: Finally got the Revo's!!! My first take, these are awesome tires! Hardly any noise at all, very smooth ride, and almost impossible to make them hydroplane. I highly recommend these, I will have to update this thread later on to say how the tread wear is going. I also highly recommend costco for purchase/installation. They did a perfect job balancing them. Only problem is they used green valve caps, but thats not a biggie. Well I know a lot of people have seen pictures of the revos, but Ill post some anyways.

i think his 4runner is a 97 or 98, its a Toyota neighborhood, lol, our other neighbor has a Tacoma, another one has a (I think) 2003 4runner. There are a couple other 4runner's, tundras, and tacomas throughout the subdivision.

The revos are great tires. You are lucky to have parents that want to make sure you are on good rubber. When I was young and needed new tires my parents said that they would only buy the least expensive.

I still owe them half, summer job, lol, Plus the revos were less expensive than the michelins. But, yes, I do really appreciate it that my parents help me out like they do. They paid off the 4runner for me, so after I finish paying them the $5500 (half) I dont have any car payments. Even though mom and dad bought it for me, I still have to buy it from them.

The tire blowouts from Firestone wasnt their fault. In order to make ride quality better, Ford recommended a lower tire pressure which was too low for the tires. Personally I would go 5lbs. less than the tire specs while cold. At my shop though, we HAVE to go by GM's tire recommendations.
