Okay- so an update on the tires: The Falkens were good, but not in clay. They were stiff, but what do you expect from a multiply off road tire that can handle everything, but clay. I swapped them out for Hankook Dynapro tires after seeing the rave reviews. The Hankooks had an awesome design. However, they didn't fair well in the schist type of rock in Arizona. Also, while off roading to my claim in the snow, I got a flat on the rear tire.......The rubber on the Hankook is too soft, slices too easily(actually had chunks of rubber taken off with 1500 miles on them), and even though a nice ride, not made for the extreme off road. I replaced the Hankook with the new Cooper Discoverer tire available at Discount tire. The tread design in comperable to the Hankook design, with a deeper groove. I have thrown everything at these tires so far, except snow. I really don't mind about ride quality of the tire, just that they perform off road. These tires perform off road exceptionally. So far, I have not had to use my rear locker for any purpose with these tires. My 4runner is stock height with Bilstein HD shocks all the way around. I love the Cooper tires the best. So Falken is good except in clay, Hankooks are good for the mild mannered off roader, and the new Cooper tires just rock!!!!! Now I know I am going to get flack about these comments and this is my personal opinion. But after paying the price for three different tire types and brands in the last 8 months or so, I think I have a right to be opinionated!!!!

I have a set of these in 31x10.50R15 that i paid 750 out the door at my discount tire. I have nothing to complain about, very good on road manners. I have taken it off road some, and i am very pleased. I don't go mudding just off roading such as dirt, grass, rocks, gravel, etc. Trails pretty much. I have no complaints on these tires in rain, off road, or on the highway. I doubt any tire at this price will go through clay well

I got em, 6000 miles now and still look almost new. Sand and rock, aired down are amazing for a A/T. As for the claims that they clog, a happy heavy tap on the skinny pedal emptied em out just fine....
Mud test proof pic... hill climbing pic.... ..... you get the idea....
