Warrantied by manufacturer defect or damage resulting from a defect but not from damage caused by you or your driving.

Doh!

I have always had good experiances with discount too. Although never bought tires from the directly. I have had them fix several flats and still have yet to pay for them....not sure if I am going to get the warrenty though. Didnt have any problems with my other sets other than the ocastional nail in the tread.

I passed on the additional coverage for the tires I bought Saturday at Discount (for our Accord). The additional cost was about the price of one tire, and I figure if something happens, chances are it will be to one tire (I say that because of past experiences). The pro-rated road hazard warranty will be fine.

Now, on my 4Runner it might be a different story as generally speaking, most of us put our 4WD's through much more abuse than our commuter cars. So I might have to think about that one.

they replaced my puncutred tire(sidewall-nasy rock sliced it while wheeling) for 15bucks under warranty. bout a year later, I paid bout 45bucks for 3new tires due to balance issues. I'd say it's worth it, especially with an at or mt tires.
