BFGoodrich Commercial T/A

I'm curious if anyone runs or has run the BF Goodrich Commercial All Terrain? I know they come in some very limited sizes, so that's not good for most, but my uncle runs them on his 95 P/U as winter tires and he swears they have saved his arse many a time in icey and snowy conditions.

I'd put up my set of Nittos against the BFGs anyday in any kind of wet stuff but alas thay don't make the Nittos in 15" sizes. Nittos have better control wehn they do slip especially in the rear and I've got a bit of experience to go by with BFGs.

Sorry, I'm not talking about the BF Goodrich All Terrains. I'm talking about the BF Goodrich Commercial All Terrains. Unless you have some specific experience with the BFG commercial all terrains?

The BFG Commercial T/A's are a pretty good tire for street use only, every vehicle that I have put them on, the owner has liked them and got the mileage out of them. as far as wet/snowy driving I'm sorry but I dont have a whole lot of input on that....(I live in Mesa AZ)... but as far as everyday dry conditions i havnt heard any thing bad about them.

OH well my uncle uses them off the beaten path as he's a faller, and hunter and he says they hold up well and overall he's a big fan. He says lots of the offroad trucks like F-350s and work trucks alike use them up in Northern Alberta during the winter when the snow and ice is prevalent both on and offroad. They are supposedly the "standard" up there.

are you thinking of putting them on your truck? If I remember right they are very stiff and will give a light weight truck a harsh teeth rattling ride. But its been a while since I've messed with them. Check the reviews on tirerack.com

No, it's more just a curiousity thing actually as I was on the BFG site and it reminded me of them. I know they are only available as far as I know in D and E range load capacities, so I can see why they might not offer the best ride quality. But since there are a lot of BFG fans on here,I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with them.
