No I just think they're noisier than ATs, which should be a surprise to no one.

I'm not driving a rock-crawler, so ultimate traction isn't as high on my priority list. I get great mileage and manners with the AT's, they're a good fit for my ride and purpose.

And for the few trucks I've been in that had MTs, the KM2s were very reasonable concerning road noise. Seemed much better than the older ones. If I were planning on running MTs, I'd have a set yesterday.

And they ship to your local store for free. The price includes mnt and bal

Man, I gotta come up to BC for these! Local Discount quoted $208 for the 33x10.5x15! And my brother just bought a set of 35x12.5x16 for $280 ea. (He paid too much...) Maybe the wheel size made the difference?

the 35 for a 16 is actually going to be a 315/75, which will likely be a load range d or e tire, and so thats actually not a bad price, when compared to the 33x10.5.

I am shocked that the 10.5 is that much. And pretty pissed too.

Yeah, I knew I got the size wrong, and the 35's are a D range. Apparently they don't make them/have them in E range.

It looks like 4WheelParts has the 33x10.50 r15 @ $175 ea. and a $50 gas card rebate. Apparently BFG has a 30,000 mile pro-rated warranty on them.

Thats still high. They should be the same as the KM's.

Ah well.

The warranty does me no good because I buy road hazard, since I routinely destroy tires on the trail.

Speaking of road hazard, do you go through a chain like Big O or the like? A year ago, I took an AT in (to Big O, where I had purchased them) that had gotten thrashed on a run and they gave me the hardest time about the warranty. They finally gave in, but they were telling me that they wouldn't do it at first...

The same type of thing happened to me when I bought some BFG A/T's at Les Schwab. They boast about how they take care of you when you buy your tires there, but when my sidewall blew out for know apparent reason, they sure fussed. I made friends with the owner of a small local tire shop and just buy from him. He's cheaper (not by much) but I'd rather he get my money and he's easy to deal with on warranty issues.

Yeah, sounds like I need a new friend with a tire shop!

I pay 20 bucks extra a tire when I buy them, usually at discount.

All the tire places are schmucks. Its pick your poison. I will say this for discount, after buying the road hazard, they have never given me a hard time. They just give me my free tire.

I'm switching away from a 9.50 tire several reasons, this being one of them. I have had to wait 3 weeks to get a tire in from the factory, because no one stocks that size.

I plan on going to the 33x10.50 KM2 this spring.

Road hazard would be nice, but my main thing is lifetime balancing. They must have a lifetime balancing policy.

Closest Discount to me is in Havasu. Might be worth the drive, though... Hmmm.

I've been eying these but since I do most driving on road I may as well get the a/t's. I did get an extra set of wheels to mount some mud terrains on (swap a/t's out when wheeling, m/t's out while on the road) but my a/t's will probably be worn out by the time I get tire money anyway. I think I'll just step up to a 33/10.5 a/t from my 29" ones.

I'm just waiting for someone to tell me how they do on packed snow. I hate my Toyo M/T's on ice and packed snow, thank heaven for VSC!

Discount will match any published price.

Just search around and print out pricing. 4 Wheel Parts has the 35 x 12.5 15R listed for under $200. Therefore, Discount will sell them for under $200.

i just got a punch of wood stuck in my bead and i took over to les schwab and they remounted and balanced it no questions asked.

I just noticed that BFG was making the KM2 in the 15" rim size, and i am excited. I want to get the 33x10.50. that would be sick. I really dig the sidewall lugs.

Guess we'll see how these work.

35x12.5" for 15" rim.

Always amazes me how nice my 4Runner rides with new tires. Will be a fun sensation (while it lasts). Hopefully will hit some trails this weekend and let you guys know my impressions as time goes along.

For reference, I am swapping to these after having good luck with Goodyear MTR's of the same size.
