Anyone ever used DUNLOP Mud rovers?

I was looking at many different tire brands and I found these dunlop muds are only like $130 for 35's, but I am kinda sketchy since they are so inexpesive, are they just cheapo crapy tires? The main thing I want to know is how long the tread last compared to other tires? Is it worth it, or are they cheap for a reason?

no no no theyre not. my best friend has them, and a guy i wheel with just went through a set. lasted forever, GREAT M/T. highly recommended, especially the price. us cheap highschoolers go for cheap m/t's, and the dunlops are very very good. bang for the buck is amazing. get them!

yes very rough ride, noisy, didnt balance well, they did last a long time and they were better than my bfgs in the rain on the street... but they sucked otehr than that....

the only time the ride was bearable was at 15 psi

They are tough offroad and great for traction in mud but they have a much shorter life than say a BFG M/T or Goodyear MT/R. Guess you get what you pay for.

One tire that has stood out from other mud terrains as far as mileage would be the Fireston Destination M/T. My buddy has a set on his jeep and after 25k miles, haven't shown any wear yet. They're fairly affordable also.

I just got some 32's and they're sick. yeah they have some of the typical characteristics of a mudder, but my brother-in-law said he got about 50 k out of them. Just got to keep them rotated and make sure the air pressure is good

if you are looking for a smooth quiet ride NO MTs are gonna be your thing

I had a set of the dunlop 33x12.50s for a year and had absolutly no problems with them besides the fact i cut a sidewall one time but it would have happened to any tire short of like a bias TSL or something. They balanced fine and wore fine and even. Its all about the quality of your balance and alignment. I sold them after the year to move up to my 35 MTRs and they still had a ton of tread. The next guy had a CRAPPY alignment and he wore them bald in a couple months.

i agree with jeremy. the noise aspect shouldnt really be a factor...its a mud terrain. its sort of like the whole gas mileage with our 4runners issue...and i do agree with you yelosub, you gota try something for yourself. were all giving you feedback, but in the end its your rig and your tires. if there was a perfect tire out there, we'd all be running it. for the price, i dont think you can find much better than the dunlops.
my .02 (well i guess now its .04)

I run these on my landcruiser, which is primarily a trail vehicle. I think they are a great tire for the price. They are a classic mud with stiff sidewalls and little cross-siping, so they produce a hard ride. That also means they last a long time. That also means they can get a little squirrely on wet paved roads. In my opinion, they balance and wear evenly if you rotate and balance regularly.

My friend has driven 20K on them as a daily driver and swears by them and will purchase another set.

I have driven BFG's and do not recommend them. Good tires, but you are paying for a stupid label, not a better tire. My .02.
