7" or 8" Rim w/ 33X10.5s?

So I have a couple of sets of rims. I was planning to put some new (soon to be ordered) 33" mud tires on a set of factory steel wheels I have, until I was reading through a post and discovered they are 7" instead of 8". Are there any advantages or disadvantages w/ going with the 7" or 8" rim for these oversized tires? The 8" rim is a later model mag wheel from a tacoma. Both are 15" rims. My rig is a stock 86 4Runner. My street tires are itty bitty 235/75/15s, FWIW.

IMO 7" wide is better than 8" wide for 10.50 tires especially if you air down for anything.

7 inches will make your tire have a more balloon look while a 8 inch won't be much better but will look and performe way better

i had 7 inch wide rims on 285/75/16 on a fullsize and they didnt look ballooned but were only inflated to 40 psi. on the yoter i keep my tires at 30 psi, the last owner had them at that pressure, i didnt bother increasing it
